By working with a personal trainer, you can create a personalized plan to get in shape, stay in shape, and meet your fitness goals.

About Our Staff

We currently have more than 60 trainers on staff, all of whom are certified by a nationally recognized personal training organization and have earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or a related field. On average, our trainers have between five to seven years of experience, and many have worked with competitive athletes on either a professional or amateur level. You can feel secure that you are working with the best; our hiring requirements are among the most stringent in the Chicago area.

What We Can Do for You

We offer personal training to our members for a reasonable price because we feel it is an added value to your East Bank Club membership. Our personal trainers are highly qualified and can work with you to address health issues such as hypertension, diabetes, general weight issues, toning, strengthening, increasing bone density, and even neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. Many of our trainers also have special areas of interest such as sport-specific training, post-surgical rehabilitation, flexibility and strength training, and prenatal training. With more than 40 personal trainers on staff, we can pair you with a trainer who best meets your fitness needs and goals.

What to Expect

At the beginning of your first session, your trainer will discuss your health history and personal fitness goals with you and then develop a plan to help you reach your full fitness potential. Our trainers are invested in your goals and are eager to help you accomplish them.

Members are required to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire prior to their first training session.
